Hay 4 Sale!

TruBlu Farms supplies quality Tifton 85 and Coastal Bermuda hay for cattle and other livestock. All hay fields at TruBlu Farms are fertilized and limed according to soil test and recommendation from Clemson University Soil Test Laboratory. Our 4x6 bales are net-wrapped and weigh an average of 1100 lbs. per bale. Bales are stored off the ground, and local delivery may be arranged for a fee.

We currently have 2009 hay available - both Coastal Bermuda and Tifton 85. Tifton 85 is a hybrid studied by University of Georgia researchers which makes excellent hay. UGA studies indicated that Tifton 85 3 1/2-week old hay fed as 15-30% of a total mixed ration was comparable to alfalfa in mixed feed fed to milk-producing Holstein cows. It is not only extremely high in protein but also broad-leafed and very digestible (View USDA article).
